What causes acne?

Our top tips to preventing acne:

 

 

 

• Always keep your skin hydrated. Sometimes the skin produces too much oil because the skin is dry, so oily skin products may be the cause of the problem.
• Don’t try to clean your face aggressively but use an effective daily cleansing regime. Gentle cleansing, toning, and a moisturiser with sun protection is the general rule of thumb.
• Don’t share makeup brushes and clean them extensively with warm water and soap after each application, especially if you’re suffering froma breakout.
• Make sure you visit your professional therapist regularly and stick to their recommended home care programme.
