HOW TO USE: AFTER A TOLERANCE TEST, apply a thin layer on the area to treat and leave on for 7/10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Avoid the eye area. Keep out of the reach of children. For external use only.

• TOLERANCE TEST Apply 1 or 2 drops of Glycolic Acid to the sides of the nose and leave on for 3-4 minutes. If the area presents irritations and very visible redness, we recommend to rinse off several times and not to continue the treatment. We suggest trying again in another period. Otherwise, in case of slight tingling, rinse off several times and proceed to the whole treatment.

TIPS:

We recommend using Glycolic Acid only if you have specific professional training. Do not use on sensitive, allergic, couperose, or unhealthy skin. Do not use during pregnancy. On the most sensitive areas, apply the product for half the time than the rest of the face. Suspend application during summer. Be careful of burning: this product is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), which may increase skin sensitivity and the risk of sunburns. Always use a sunscreen and limit exposure to the sun while using the product and for the week following the treatment. Always do the tolerance test before treatment.

Always ask if the customer has already used treatments with high concentrations of Glycolic Acid. If so, the skin may be sensitive to acids usage and may be harmed by further treatments of Glycolic Acid. Always do the tolerance test before treatment.

ACTIVE PRINCIPLES:

• GLYCOLIC ACID 8% Glycolic Acid is an acid derived from sugarcane and other vegetal sources. It is used in exfoliating treatments to solve many skin blemishes. Its main action is to counteract skin aging caused by excessive accumulation of dead cells, thickening the stratum corneum and decreasing the production of collagen and elastin that, as time passes, causes loss of hydration and elasticity. Glycolic Acid helps dead cells exfoliation and stimulates cellular turnover, giving brightness, smoothness, and hydration. Glycolic Acid is also used on skin with dark spots since the peeling helps remove pigmented cells by gradually enlightening skin colour. Oily and acne skin benefits from the smoothing action of Glycolic Acid as it removes impurities that clog pores, normalizes sebaceous secretion and attenuates acne scars.
